Meeting new people on sw. Does this happen to anyone else?

Ok so I'll receive messages from people. And the conversation only lasts for that day and I'll be the one sending the last message and it will be just a regular conversation but never hear back from people. Or they message something like how are you and i respond then it's just dead. Does this happen to anyone else? Am I just not interesting enough or what? Like why are you starting a conversation with me if you're ot going to takk to me? I don't get it.

OK when we talking people who specifically contact you first, all chirpy often you'll have a really nice conversation with them and then they never talk to you again. It's not that they've fallen out with you, or that you're boring, it's more likely the other way around, if they don't have much to talk about, or there is only a very limited amount of information they're willing to reveal about themselves, for whatever reason, they'll never speak to the same person twice. Chances are they'll just keep recycling the same information in a conversation over and over with somebody new each time.

The ''Hi HRU?'' is a different thing that's people who login and send the same generic message out over and over to anyone they wanna speak to until they start getting replies coming back in. When you send a reply back someone might well of replied before you and that's why after they initially send you a PM showing interest, you then just get totally blanked.

@Pecifini Is what it is some people will only ever have that one conversation with you or it will be full on for a short space of time then they'll pretty much ghost you forever, and it's very f%king annoying you know sometimes you feel like you've got to know them then boom, they move on to the next person. We've all had it happen though and sucks I know. x
