I Love to Make New Friends and Meet New People
So while my roommate is turning out to be far more racist than I initially thought....
The nice thing is that the handful of other girls here are all super nice, even the ones I don't really click with. Their friends are also cool too. I find myself making a few new friends and I'm feeling a LOT more relaxed than I have the last few weeks since getting here.
A couple of them witnessed my roommate being an ass and since then they've all checked up on me here and there, even a few stayed overnight and we bingewatched Game of Thrones and horror movies for a couple days.
I think it's a matter of time before the roommate gets tossed out since I'm not the only one she's bothered. So it'll be easier to bide time with friends until the ax drops.
