Am I doing something wrong? [I Dont Like Small Talk]

When I pray then read the bible
I feel worse then when I don't
Why do you suppose that is ?

I know we aren't supposed to pay much attention to our feelings but it's odd for me ..again ..just trying to learn ,grow and understand...

Understandable.

For me, I feel sad when I pray. It feels to me that God is a hypocrite at times.

@SW-User I'm not saying I'm not a believer and I'm against Christianity.

However, to get hurt everytime despite doing the right thing doesn't make sense. I keep trying to make my life better but I end up 4 steps backwards. After dealing with so many problems for over a decade which isn't my fault. I kinda feel he had favorites and is a hypocrite. I'm not his child and I feel he doesn't love me but wants to see me hurt constantly.

But let's say a person has no place to live and it's not his fault. He keeps moving around constantly and can't keep up with the rent but those who did wrong get it right.

What would you say in this instance? I mean I still believe in him. But that belief seems to be diminishing.
