When they become protective in a way that I feel limited. You can say that's a red flag, but no, I'm not talking extreme situations. I'm talking caring protective behaviour. That still can be limiting.
@being I believe I understand. Even when it's not smothering it can still feel like it's more in our space than we want it to be. Sometimes I feel like that's more on me than it is them. Just speaking from my own experience, apologies if I'm missing the mark.
