People treat mental pain like it’s so much easier to heal than physical 😆

Broken heart is very different from a broken bone.

I’d love to go to the ER and have them mend me up and go on my way. Maybe some bed rest and someone else cooks me a meal for once. Someone even paying attention to me without wanting. Some compassion for the pain and what caused it.

But you can’t fix everything that way. It’s not possible for some of us. Maybe if you have a family that gives a shit about you.

I've been there and lived in that dark place for about seven years and there is no help. People give you encouragement, give you advice and tell you there is a light at the end of the tunnel but I'd always shoot them down.. "If there's a light at the end of the tunnel why have I been this way for so long?" "You just say nice things to make yourself look better but have no idea of my suffering".

The truth is it is hard to crawl out of the abyss but it can be done and it has to be you who does it as nobody can get inside your head without your permission.
