I Accept People As They Are

i always accept people for who they are,I'm not a judgemental person. its the best way to be. i mean one has to realise that if you judge someone for any reason, then you have to realise that there are probably millions of people all around the world that live their lives the same way or behave in the same way,and are you going to waste your time thinking about and judging all these people too?? i mean, as long as they aren't hurting anyone including themselves, then where's the problem?? the way someone chooses to live their life or what they choose to do with their life has absolutely nothing to do with me, and as long as they themselves are happy, then that's fine by me!!

well, your points are valid, but what my story mentions is with regards to what people do with their lives and how they chose to live it!! i mean, of course no one is going to be stupid enough to let someone like that into their own home, i mean, even someone that did look ok but was a stranger i wouldnt even let into my own home, not because im judging them, but just because you can never judge a book by its cover, and even someone that looks like a decent person can be the total opposite!! and of course if your interviewing someone you need to find the best person for the job, and the same applies with your kids, but again, my story only applies to the way people live their lives and what they choose to do with it!! what im trying to say is that too many people try to stick their noses into other peoples private lives and then point out things they dont agree with!! but i will say again, your points are valid!!

I judge people all the time. It's natural. And no, I won't spend my life judging all people. But the ones who interview for a job, yes. I make judgements and when i have ignored my instinct and given them a chance even though i felt they would be unreliable, i have regretted it. Because then you have to fire them. When I needed a sitter when my kids were babies, you bet I judged. And the gut won every time.

If you don't judge people, does that mean if some unwashed drunk with days old puke on his clothes rings your bell and wants to come in to use your toilet, you will welcome him?

and that's totally understandable, and even though I say I'm a non judgemental person, it doesn't mean that I wouldn't think like you in those situations, cos at times like that, you don't really have a choice but to make a judgement, but as I say, I was only talking about things that don't concern me as an individual, and as long as they aren't hurting anyone including themselves, then there is no problem, so why should anyone else make a problem out of something that isn't a problem to begin with!!

Stop judging me for judging others.

That makes much more sense. If your life style has no impact on me or mine, then I probably wouldn't even think about you. And I certainly won't be judging you. But when it crosses the line and and impacts my life or my family, then I will be taking a close look and, yup!!!! judging.
