I think it’s funny

When you run into an acquaintance, and they are not quite sure who you are. They say, “What’s your name again?”

You tell them your name and they nod or snap their fingers. “Yes! That’s right!”

I take great pride in knowing my name. 😀

I recently had the experience where someone was certain they knew me.
"Your name’s on the tip of my tongue…”
“Bijou ?” I offer.
She frowned. “No, that’s not it…”

@bijouxbroussard That’s better yet. Years and years ago we’d just bought our first house and had the phone installed. Almost immediately, it rang. I answered it, and a male voice said, “Hey! How ya doin’?”

We talked for almost 20 minutes before we realized we didn’t know each other and he’d dialed a wrong number.
