Sounded like an explosion. It's a good thing the carport is there, otherwise it would have landed on his new truck.

Yikes! That would add some excitement to the day. Good thing the carport was there. Trees and trucks don't play well together. I lost my a few years ago in a storm. Although I'm not sure a carport would have saved my truck.
