I went to the skating rink today with the intention of finding a skate buddy

As I laced up my skates, I looked around for people who might be skating alone.
Didn't see many my age, who also didn't have headphones on.

I was low-key looking around the whole time I was skating.
Then I spotted someone skating alone, without headphones.

I observed for a minute and then she sat down.
I looked to see if anyone would join her at the table alone.

She watched other skaters, and honeslty looked kinda lonely at that point lol

So I was like, ok cool, that's my person 😄

As I exited one end of the skating rink, making my way to sit near her, she headed towards the other entrance to go skate again 😅

So I tapped her and chatted for a sec.
Talked about our skates and the rinks we like.
She suggested we exchange numbers and we did.
Maybe we'll skate again sometime.
