Do ‘first impressions’ always last?

Or do you often find yourself having the wrong impression about someone and you realize you were mistaken about how you first “saw” them?

I am pretty spot on with people because
I pay attention.

Would you consider that first impression?

If you’ve taken the time to evaluate them far longer than the initial surface impression they create, then you’ve taken the right steps before deciding whether they are for you or not.

@CookieCrumbs I would consider it the first impression.

When I worked it was really important because I had to screen potential employees and that started with the first impression of the resume/cover letter. Phone call to arrange the interview and even in those first steps I could tell so much about a person by the way they handled themselves.

Then came the interview.

That makes sense. When one makes the wrong first impression, they lose the chance to talk about what they can do during an interview.
