All the time

It doesn't even have to be a woman, I open doors for men too 🤷 it's just courtesy
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@ChiefWalksWith40oz I was just about to comment this. I do the same.
MagicaloneANRABF · 56-60, M
Doesnt matter. If someone is coming up to the door and I have the opportunity....always. Man, woman, kid. Just seems natural to me. Brought up that way.
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
It’s about being a gentleman more than about the woman. So yes. I’ve done it many times.
Iwillwait · M
All the time.
@Iwillwait Likewise.
Iwillwait · M
@LamontCranston You're a kind person.
@Iwillwait No more than other posters here who embrace this bit of courtesy. A side benefit seems to be that I have never failed to see the person I've held the door for, female mostly but also for men if i'm there first, smile in response.
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
I just open doors for people, period.
TexChik · F
Common courtesy rarely exists these days and is certainly absent in the under 20 crowd .
malizz · 70-79, M
No problem, especially if she's elderly.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
Of course. She’s a lady.
@Ambroseguy80 today people were never taught common courtesy
Absolutely. It's always motivated by kindness and courtesy, and an opportunity to be of service to another.

Chivalry may not be dead, but it can at times unfortunately be misinterpreted as a come-on, and the male -- a creep in waiting.

In this day and age, it's best to practice discretion.

4meAndyou · F
As a courteous woman, I open doors for everyone, especially other women with strollers and lots of kids, elderly people using walkers or canes, people in wheelchairs, and men who are trying to keep track of their kids.

Of course...,
Yes, I've helped random people get stuff from the top shelf in the store, picked heavy items up to put in a cart. Whether attractive or not, and then gotten on with my own stuff
Scribbles · 36-40, F
I'm not a man, but I open doors for men and women all the time as a courtesy and kindness. It has nothing to do with how a person looks or if I like them or not.
Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
Well would you open your for an unattractive guy? There's a lot of us around.
Prettybratbi1tch · 26-30, F

Justforfun65 · 56-60, M

Degbeme · 70-79, M

Prettybratbi1tch · 26-30, F

Degbeme · 70-79, M
AllAboutLaffs · 70-79, M
I do that all the time .... it's common courtesy
AlyAngel · F
I open doors for anyone
NodandaWink · 51-55, M
Yes, I open doors for everyone. One doesn't need to be attractive for you to be polite to them.
I’m not a man, but I’ll hold the door for any person coming along behind me, regardless of gender. Letting the door slam in someone’s face is bad manners.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
I am a woman and I open doors for everyone and I appreciate when it’s done for me and I say thank you
empanadas · 31-35, M
