A friend I would expect it from.. someone that is just an acquaintance it would be a little odd but still no big deal really
@Starchild1983 A female co-worker of mine came to my office whenever she was bored, we hung out at work quite much as well. I grew quite comfortable around her so far, and considering the situation, my co-workers (and patients, working at a hospital) have become my "covid society" by now.

@Starchild1983 I just had exes and ex-lovers in the past deny having ever had any feelings for me, which makes me selfconscious about declaring people as my friends.

I would find it odd. I'd also think they were lonely. I might still interact but only because I'm up late at night anyway.
