Mom and I are retired. Live comfortably on pension. Teamsters and state pension+ss.

So what is success. Finding the love of your life at 15. Marrying her at 19 and looking forward to your 59th anniversary in just a few months. She was 18 months older than me.

Having your heart crushed and welcoming her back with open arms. When you are mad at your spouse but can't stand to be away from them.

Hoping to make that 60th anniversary. That is success.

Mostly meaningless. Figure out what you are trying to do and go do it.
What's success for one person may not be for the other person. And so on.
