I'm willing to accept the bare minimum when it comes to, cheap thrills, if you will.

A couple months ago a 80-year-old cute nice woman paid and fed me to fix some closet doors. When she asked if there was anything else I wanted, I motioned for her to come sit on my knee. She said if I said anything like that again she wouldn't have me over anymore.
Now she wants 32 heavy 16-in (and they are thick) pavers along for fenceline. I already loaded and unloaded the 32 heavy bricks as a favor because she is nice and I didn't know exactly what she was having me pick up. I told her not to ask me to do that kind of heavy labor anymore. She's fine with that, fixing doors and lawn mowers is one thing but I'm not into moving a bunch of heavy bricks.
She had a boy try putting in the pavers but he gave up after the first one. I told her I would do the whole job for her if she would flash me in her robe for a second when I'm sitting in her kitchen again.
There was the same hesitation when she told me she would not have me over anymore if I said something like that and reluctantly said okay when the job is done for a second.
I don't think she resents me for it because she still gives me sandwiches... but won't let me drink beer.
