And with that, the dead appliance lives again. Only now it's a premium, artisan, hand-tuned industrial appliance.

It's been repaired, but also with parts better than the ones that broke. I succeeded. It works again.

Do need to clean up a little in here but, For now, let's just savor this moment of my successful rebellion against planned obsolescence and be merry by Wednesday the root cause of the failure which was me having to use the plug as my on-off switch will be addressed as well because I found a proper metal one that should fit over so that I can adjust the speeds and turn it off as intended.

Next project? Try repairing a leaky Mr. Coffee maker. And manage to do so without ordering anything. 😆
