About Me About Me NotesAbout Me
My name is Lili. I live on a farm in Wales. I have been on this site since it started and on ep before that. I started on ep when I was 13. My nickname is Blodyn. It’s Welsh for flower. And I am named for a flower, in particular Lili’r Wyddfa. Snowdon Lily. It grows there and nowhere else in the world.
I am the fifth of six children. We are five girls and one boy. I am 19. My sister Ffion and I live at home on the farm. Ffion is 16. My three older sisters and my brother live away from home. But quite nearby. And they all have children so I am an Aunty! I have quite a few nephews and nieces and there is another nephew on the way!
Ffion and I work on the farm. Before school we check the sheep and make sure they have water and give them sugar beet when they are feeding their lambs. And we do the same after school and college. In the summer we help with the shearing. Well not actually shearing but rolling fleeces. It’s hard work and good fun!
I go to Art School. I do jewellery and ceramics. I hope to have my own business making jewellery and maybe ceramics. I’m in Year 2. Art School is so great. We’re like one big family. Actually I dread having to leave! But I have another year and a half. The college is in Carmarthen. It takes ages to get there and back. I travel for over three hours each day but they won’t let me stay on campus because I live too close! But they do pay for my travel.
College isn’t just about Art! There is a pool. Well not my college but the uni which is on the same campus. And I love swimming. A few of us go to swim every lunch time. I am training to be a lifeguard. The uni employs students to be lifeguards. But I need to qualify first. I’m training really hard!
I am language ambassador for the college. I work with the younger Art students to help them do their work in Welsh. I love this work. It isn’t paid but I get a small bursary each term to cover travel expenses but I don’t have any because although it’s a different campus I just get there on the college bus anyway! I love I get to know the younger students before they come to my college. It helps them to feel at home when they get here.
Oh and I’m a Christian. No one else in my family is. I get a lot of flack! But am I bothered? Do I look like I’m bothered?! I go to the Pentecostal church in my home town. I have so many friends there.
And I’m on this site because I love meeting people. If you are genuine and sincere, message me. Chatting is my favourite sport, as my teachers keep reminding me!
