I retired 7 years ago. It’s probably the best time of my life to be honest. The thing is I was pretty unhappy at work and to be able to give it up is just such a wonderful wonderful feeling. Even after all this time retired I still find myself taking a moment everyday just taking a deep breath and saying to myself “It’s over, I’ve done it, I’ll never have to go back” it’s a great feeling. If you hate your job, guys it will pass eventually everything does. Embrace that if you can.
