I have been there a few times. The 1st time i was able to walk around the stones but typical tourists was chipping bits off and damaging the site. The last time i went we was away from the stones and it spoilt the day

I found Stonehenge quite a disappointment. More cramped than expected. The neighbouring road had a lot of traffic, how it was allowed there I never know.
