About Me About Me NotesAbout Me
I've lived in multiple states in the US but have finally settled in Missouri. Done too much work on the house here and have too good of a setup to sell out and move again.
I'm far from conventional.
I vote Republican only because I disagree with them the least.
I want a polyamorous relationship with at least two women, not because I think it's about menage-a-trois but because three can run a house more efficiently than two, and monogamy rarely satisfies 100% of both partners' needs.
I think teens today should be given responsibility of their own lives almost as though they were adults living on their own, but with guidance from their parents who exercise veto power ONLY when the consequences would be catastrophic. I'm talking about them managing their allowance for everything they need including food. And if they want to spend the night with a love interest, let them, so long as they know the rules (no exchange of body substance) and understand the risks of breaking those rules (STIs, pregnancy, emotional complications).
I believe consequences for a teen's disobedience should be situational, not parental. Instead of grounding them for staying out too late or getting drunk, let them deal with the hangover without sleeping it off all day. Of course if the alcohol becomes an addiction the parents SHOULD step in (veto power).
I'm all for inverted classrooms where lecture videos are for homework and class time is spent on exercises where teacher and peer-tutoring are available.
I told you I'm unconventional.
