Regarding pronouns, it is: [i][b]Hers[/b] ran a great 5k this week[/i], [i]I really like [b]she[/b] dress[/i], [i]I think that glass is actually [b]her[/b][/i]. It makes more sense than some of the stuff people invent.
My parents have a farm, so at some level I also have part boasting rights over cattle, the innumerable and obligatory yard-scratching chickens, dogs, and several horses. As well, of course, as my own true love, the irrepressible Flash
I have a degree in history from an ancient university, and in political economy from a less-ancient one, and am currently considering options - a little sparser in these desperate times of plague, but we have all weathered far worse storms in the past.
I can speak fluent French and passable Italian, as well as English, enough German to chat up objects of desire, and sufficient Latin to cope (mostly) with the traditional Missal, or uncomplicated classical texts. I would love to learn Greek some day, but I think the alphabet puts me off.
I also have bipolar disorder, which was diagnosed when I was 17. I may use it for 'excusing' contradictions I see or others might see in my life, changeable behaviours week to week, I don't know, but fortunately it's something that with care can be managed. (And if I seem to vanish from SW for a while, then it is probably related to this, so be patient and I'll probably return).
So, in the one body you can find a practicing Catholic (even if one with darts into heterodoxy) with a deep attachment to the traditional Latin liturgy, who would not dream of receiving the Holy Eucharist but with a clean soul, on her knees and on the tongue, less from vanity and more from reverence, who has from time to time seriously entertained discernment as a religious, who prays daily at least some hours of the Divine or Little offices...
And on the other hand, sometimes the wheels pop off the clown car. We all have moments like it, of one sort of another. I don't like that I'm sometimes like that. But also I do...
Either way I suppose I am a sensualist. Perhaps in both cases, spiritual and yes fleshly pleasures too, there is something of the rich sensory and sensual experience speaks to me powerfully.
