@CdAshley I love dogs ... my only issue is that my job and my husband's involves significant travel and I've avoided getting one for that reason.

I do regularly borrow my neighbor's Golden Retriever as a running partner. Neighbor is somewhat sedentary and the dog absolutely loves to run ... and besides, creeps don't bother female runners with dogs ... even if my neighbor's dog would probably lick them to death !!!
