To give you an idea of who I am, I will share with you the following:
I wouldn't intentionally hurt anyone and don't want to. That's not who I am. However, people shouldn't take that as a sign of weakness, either. I do have my boundaries and believe everyone should have them. You teach people how you wish to be treated. I can stand up for myself and I do appreciate being treated with respect, as that's the way I try to treat others.
I do not believe in quitting or giving up. I'm not a quitter. I am a strong woman of faith and survival, as I get my strength from Jesus, as He promised. I believe in perseverance and a plan. If it doesn't work one way, that only means I can try it another way, and so on, until it works. It doesn't have to be perfect. I just have to be happy with it and I'll be satisfied. The Lord is my strength, my Rock, my Shield. I'm not afraid of anything. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and a sound mind. 2nd Timothy 1:7. I am 100% devoted to Almighty God in my daily life. I try to give Him my best.
I am an amateur artist and enjoy painting in acrylics and sometimes watercolor. I love "color" and sparkley things, as in the old-fashioned way they used to make cards, and I'm happy to see that coming more back in style.
Singing has always been my heart from the very beginning and I have performed before audiences many times in the church. My voice is not what it used to be now, but I'm trying to get it back in shape, so I can once again, sing in church. That was definitely a gift and calling from God. It is totally "me". I definitely feel I was born to be a gospel singer. It doesn't bother me at all to sing before the church. In this way, I can glorify God. I thoroughly also enjoy bible study. I think that's obvious. 🤭
I am a retired legal secretary and was a Bankruptcy Petition Preparer on the side. Unlike local attorneys at that time, my goal was to help people, not drain them dry by charging $1,000 when they were already hurting. I only charged $75 for service and some I did for free. However, I was illegally shut down by a corrupt judge because all the other attorneys were crying that I took their business away. So I was forced to shut down. The judge was so evil and made me pay back every penny that I had earned from my clients and ordered that I could only practice if I would charge $25, which could not sustain living. I'm just happy that I was able to help so many while I could. Another business I ran from home, was a title and license remitter. All this while raising a family. I'm very business oriented and I'm always inclined to enjoy challenges and building a business, even today. I am self-taught in everything I have done in my life, and I'm very proud of that, but most of all, I'm proud of the way my mom and dad raised to me to always be genuine and honest. I carried that conviction in my car sales business and therefore had a great reputation. Reputation means everything to me because it follows you all through your life. Always be honest, no matter what. And stand up for what you believe in.
I enjoy long drives with no particular destination in mind, but to seek out a potential surprise around the next bend. A friend of mine was a paraplegic and I would drive him for 8 hours through all the backwoods, in the beautiful Ozarks all the time, as he loved that so much, as did I. I miss that so much. It's been many years since I've done that. He moved. It always reminded me of when I lived in Alaska. What an adventure, so full of God's breathtaking handiwork and grace.
I have also loved to write and I'm thankful that God led me to share the gospel here, and my love for God. I have written a few gospel poems and a song, which I sang in church. I also love karaoke.
I love searching for beautiful rocks along the river, but it has been many years since I did that, as well. Caves are fun. I've always loved walking through the woods. I have no one to accompany me now. It certainly always seems more fun to me when I can share the beauty of God's world with another.
There are many things that I like but I think these shall do for the moment. However, I do want to mention that I love animals and plants, so much.
By the way, I'm not looking for sexual chats. Don't bother. It won't happen. Also, not interested in marriage. What I AM looking for, or would like in my life, is a lifelong male, true Christian companion/friend, until God calls me home.
