Khadra wants to be a famous ballerina, but she knows that dream is almost impossible when living in such a big city, full of talented people. It is hard paying for the summer lessons when her mother does not approve of the heavy-browed girl’s passion. Now that she is twenty, she has taken up stripping at the elite club for the wealthy NY residents, they pay well and she actually does not mind the attention of eyes bearing down on her. Anyone coming in looking for her can just ask her to do anything and she will serve to every command as long as they paid appropriately, only rarely leaving the club with certain rich men who know how to give a girl what she wants.


Not many in town know where she works at night, mostly those clients that like to keep their visits hush hush and she does not have to worry about them spilling her dirty secrets. At first, the business was scary and so were the men, but quickly she forgot about the lack of comfort on the job because the bills meant she would be able to continue on dancing, and it did not hurt that it kept her fit for practices. She is a scouter, evaluating every person and thing she comes across and making quick judgments. She can be on every end of the spectrum when it comes to her personality depending on the person she is interacting with, but in the end she is just a lost girl looking for the way out of the misery.
