Prayer is like a hose.
Put it in the wrong direction, the fire will continue.
Too many holes in the hose, no water will come out.
Not enough water pressure, only a trickle will appear.
The more ( the water pressure) that believe in the same way (no holes) and put the payer in the correct direction, the more likely it will work.
If all believe the same way, there's no need for the prayers. The fire never existed.

Purpose of life.

Life is change.
And everything changes.
At the very least everything is in motion.
That is change by itself.
It's how that change happens that matters. You either direct that change or you succumb to the changes around you!
Either case you will change or cease to exist. Which is another form of change.
Even change, changes in it's rate of change!
Nothing (void) ... is beyond changing! Void is the opposite of change. In void there is not even a thought!
Very likely thought caused change! Yet what can really conceive of total Void without thought?
Void is absolute! There can be no thought in void. Thought is change.
This goes far beyond, Descartes's: "I think, therefore I am".
Because thought is change. Descartes hated the idea that anything was beyond the self.
Void is beyond even thought of anything.
Thought causes change. Or not void.

Yet the possibilities are truly infinite. While we are nothing, collectively and throughout time, more than a speck of dust to the universe.
And yes, what if there are other universes? And yes, what about other dimensions? And what of the other things that are currently unknown?
It's infinities in all ways. From in between fractions to either ends of a number line and onto what is imaginary with the number i. And so much more.
To limit it, is to limit yourself. Which is unrealistic, because all the known infinites, which we have troubles conceiving, do exist!
