@veeceekay1991 Well, it depends of the point of view. For people who's not used to have a close relationship with the topic of death maybe, but here in Mexico we do this to remember and celebrate people who's not here anymore, and we celebrate with joy to represent that death is only a part of the path. Beside that, from my personal point of view I love this kind of things because the unknown is our destiny. We are walking to the unknown everyday, and we'll end in the most unknown experience for we all who live: death. I've always have had a certain curiosity to know why are we here in this world, and why does it ends with time. It is mysterious and frightening at first, but I have developed a great sense of whats valuable in life considering everyday the fact that I'll die one day. Maybe a lot of this curiosity and weird taste comes from the fact that I was born in November and here in my town there's a "feria?" called Feria del Alfenique. People sells there everything related with Dia de Muertos and some Halloweeny stuff too, and I ended associating this traits to my birthday, haha. I hope not to scare you 😄 I'd like to read your point of view if you like 😊
