Checkmate1969

I'm a Vermonter that moved to the deep south so I talk funny and I'm called a Yankee sometimes. I like the South the cost of living is so much less in the south than anywhere else and I'm incredibly grateful for that because I draw SSDI and it's hard to live on that in Louisiana let let alone new England. When I left Vermont in 1995 my Rent was $409 for a studio apartment. I'm in public housing now and my rent still isn't what I paid in 1995. I'm very happy here in Lafayette Louisiana
