@Mugin16 To a great extent, it describes aspects of life and needs of trees that we usually attribute only to animals and humans. In other words, it describes how they create society, how they communicate, defend and feed each other and even raise their offspring in a way. The author says this only applies to natural forests and agricultural forests lose these abilities because their root system is disconnected and trees can't communicate. There are many interesting facts.
