@wonderland63893 I don't get it personally because honestly History was my favorite subject in High School. I guess in part because it's go so much controversy... my History teachers were very obviously left wing and horrified/embarrassed at America's History and honestly It really is devastating to any sense of patriotism but what confuses me the most is that World War 2 and the events surrounding it are batshit fascinating even if morbid and horrifying, it's difficult to even look away...
I don't get how so many young people aren't absolutely intellectual enthralled by the major events of the 1900s.... I won't ever be able to empathize with that lack of curiosity.
