I Don't Mind Being Incontinent

Admittedly its not the greatest thing in the world but I've never known any different so its not something I mind so much. I guess I would mind a lot more if I was born without it and got it at a later date but as someone who has never had the privilege of control its just an everyday thing for me and always has been. Would I change it if I could? Probably. Am I super bothered about it? Not really. Always try to make the best of the hand you are dealt I say.

Due to dribbling and leakage caused by an enlarged prostate I've had to start wearing Pullups during the day and tape up diapers at night for the last year. It took me a while to get used to having to wear protection 24/7 but I've now just accepted it as a part of me. It has been a bit of an adjustment always having to have "supplies" with me but with a little forethought it's not that big of a deal. In some cases like sporting events or long drives it's even a benefit. I've actually started to really enjoy my diapers by focusing on the pros rather than the cons and in fact I'm sleeping better than ever thanks to not having to worry about the occasional wet sheet. I've really come to love my diapers and the freedom they give me. In the very beginning I was a bit embarrassed but now I even enjoy buying them and trying different brands and types.

It is frustrating but don't let it get you down. I have an overactive bladder. It was hard to except at first. I wasn't wanting to really wear diapers. But I had a lot of daytime accidents that were more embarrassing. So now I i just consider my diaper to be "bionic underwear" I only use the higher quality European made Abena X Plus tena slip maxi and Dry 24/7. I can go out to concerts hike travel spend the day exploring NYC.

excellent attitude there!! I too deal with the issue, with me it's onset was somewhat recent - but I've quickly learned that being upset by it does no good, doesn't make it better, and only keeps me mentally low - so I've embraced it, quickly adapted my lifestyle and routine to take care of myself and my daily needs, and moved on - now it's just a part of life, not a bother.

Your comment is so true there are lots of people out there that have to deal with things much worse than being incontinent I suffer from night time wetting and it's hard to come to terms with it but I'm like you well if this is they way I'm meant to be then fine I accept:)

Ps diapers are much more comfy than normal underwear lol

I admit I grew up not needing nappies but did have a fatish for many years until my back injury in 2013 I found out I was wanting to go to the toilet a lot and having a few accidents on way it was then I decided to wear 24/7 and have done ever since

It was hard going from feeling normal to having to wear the pee pants. Having to explain to every girl at some point is embarrassing. I suppose that I could have died instead though. Could be worse.

that's a very good way to look at it, so many of us look down on it, it dose not have to stop are lives, it's just a small part of it. be the wonderful person you want to be.
