I Am Worried

[c=#7700B2]I have been stressing out all day. I got some weird phone calls, from my brother that he feels that distant family members of ours are going to hurt him or hire a hitman on him. He said that he angered them and now they are after him..

My brother has schizophrenia and when he says stuff like this, it never ends good and he hurts himself and gets hospitalised.. He isn't picking up his phone anymore and my dad has been trying to find him for a little while now..
this sucks so bad, he was doing so good and finally getting his life sorted out and now looks like things are going to get rough for him once again..

times like this I hate living hours away from my family :([/c]

I’m so sorry . Unfortunately delusions and behavior like that do require hospitalization... just to monitor the meds and to keep him safe until they work ... then the counseling . Mental illness is horrible . Living away from him isn't your fault , you have your life to live too and deserve happiness.

@TexChik [c=#7700B2]yeah you are right.. he has been found and apparently is doing ok now but he is going to stay at my parents for a bit and if this gets worse, he said he wants to admit himself back into hospital[/c]

I don't really like hitting ❤️ on this...only that it is the only way you know I have read it. My brother has very similar problems...and I am also far away, he is back in NZ. He has no family back there, and our parents are dead. He also self admits into hospital when thingd get really rough. I am glad he has been found and is at your parents. I hope your visiting him tomorrow brings good. Hugs.

@KiwiBird [c=#7700B2]thanks kiwi and yeah I am like that with certain threads and hearting it but do it for same reason as you did. I am sorry to hear about your brother. Very tough to have a loved one go through such things and the feeling of helplessness and sorry to hear about your parents :([/c]

Hugs you! 🤗🤗🤗

Living some hours away from close family can be a drag, yes. I’m sorry that your brother is having difficulties, and hopefully this will turn out okay! Sending good vibes. JJ

I'm hoping everything is okay and that he's safe. A scary illness for sure but it sounds like he's managed to win some battles with it. He'll bounce back.

He does need someone next to him because schizophrenia can really get you lost in your thoughts.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
@Pfuzylogic [c=#7700B2]sounds like he is having a psychotic episode [/c]

@PlumBerries They do juxtapose when the person has no contact at all with reality. He will be in my thoughts.

@Pfuzylogic [c=#7700B2]thanks [/c]
