I Have Had a Broken Leg

Around 5 years old my thigh was burned down to the muscles, so I had to have skin grafting, They took the skin from my unburned thigh, so for a while I had casts on both legs, then just on the burned one. In my 40's I broke my ankle in three places and the lower leg was in a cast.

About 3 years ago I broke my ankle! Soooo painful! Was walking across the street... lost my balance due to the uneven road.... was wear heels...fell...in front of cars..got up limped across the street sat on a rock and I cried like a baby... so so painful

I have had all kinds of casts from short leg ones like yours. Full leg to the hip and even body cast to the chest

How come so many for you? I cracked a bone in my other ankle but that required an air cast.. removable!

I have those air cast boots too.differnt times I have broken both ankles both legs my hip and my pelvis.

Did you have to have surgery or were you just put in a cast?

I was just in a cast.... home for 8 weeks got to watch world cup soccer lol

Were you on crutches the whole time? How high up did the cast come?

In crutches yes... the cool metal ones! Cast was just below my knee.. you?

You seem to have tough time with your legs

Ya they're pretty beat up!
