I Have A Story

There was a time in history when a girl lived happily.

She lived in a most charming dwelling. The windows had shutters and a beautiful fence surrounded the house.

In the back, the garden produced all the food ever needed. The animals lived contentedly, with plenty of water, food, and shelter.

The village near the girl's house was as enchanting as her house. The architecture reflected styles from around the globe ranging from classic to contemporary. The villagers were friendly and welcoming to all who visited.

Every morning the girl would arise with the sun as her silent smiling alarm clock. She would enjoy breakfast as well as the scenic view from her window.

Her day consisted of attending to chores, lunching with friends and visiting other friends, in addition to running errands.

When she decided to eat at home, she would enjoy the evening meal in the dining room that provided a spectacular view of each day's sunset.

She loved being entertained, whether it was the theatre or music. Laughter was no less important in the night than it was during the day.

At the end of the evening, she would prepare for bed in anticipation of yet another day filled with life.

Her sleep would be accented with pleasant dreams.

There was a time in history when a girl lived happily, and lived happily ever after.

@ImMalia - In a way I understand why you say that. I guess it's because there's no action per se, which leaves it open to interpretation. And since there's nothing to indicate movement of sorts it has a kind of lingering tone, which could be construed as prevailing sadness.
Thank you very much for your reply.

I don't know why your story makes me sad
Darina · F
I pray!
... An echo in my response.
Indifference of the parapet.
And the fog covered the years,
Pier lonely poet.
In the gray mist splashing river
Float boats somewhere
I turn into an old man quietly.
Shouted, "answer me!"
... But there is no answer.
Darina · F
on the website it matter?
I never thought about this...
I live in Russia and I like to have friends from other countries...
Darina · F

When you mentioned you wrote erotica the usual reaction from a guy should be "oh yeah! that's what I'm talking about! what kind? do you get off on your own writings? do you write from experiences? do you want to try some of the stuff you write about?"......
That's what I mean.
I'm not in a rush to read it. I'll read it when I get a chance.
I'm sorry I muddled things a bit.
Darina · F
hahahah...I think that you are not as old as you want to be...
Darina · F
hi my friend...

SW-User

SW-User
But.....I don't ever want to mislead you.
I'm not handsome, intelligent, rich, strong, or well traveled.
Yeah I'm a typical guy in some respects but I like to think I'm not a stereotypical "guy" if that makes any sense.
Darina · F
I'm right...:)))
Darina · F
(*shock!*)?

@xal132 - I didn't mention a specific date or time in history; this could have been anytime, ranging from the medieval period to the 1950s.
The reason she's no longer happy? We don't live forever you know.

@MaryQueenOfScots - This is the first I've posted, though I do have a few more on the way.
Thank you very much for your compliment: I'm glad you enjoyed it.
SW-User
Oh you know -- usually whenever erotica (or anything remotely associated with sex) is mentioned a guy's ears go up and he says something very predictable.
SW-User
@xal132: your kind words say it all. I'm very flattered by them, and by the fact that you took the time to write me.
I thank YOU!

:)
SW-User
The old man was unfortunately lost in his own fog and could not see or hear what was beyond.

Poor old man.
Poor.
Old.
man.
SW-User
@xal132: Okay I had to chuckle at your erotica disclaimer......that was good....teeheehee......
SW-User
No I didn't.
However I will, though right now I'm not in the mood (*shock!*)
SW-User
I know right?!?!
A male?
Not in the mood for something sex related?!?
SW-User
I will look it up and read it later today or early evening.
SW-User
@Lemonysnicket, you are too kind and sweet.
Thank you!

:)
SW-User
@xal132: you're welcome, and thank you!
