It's why I am alive.

Good morning.I am 20 years old, in college and loving my life. Training to be a lifeguard. Doing 40 lengths each lunch time. Easy to forget my life depends on my insulin pump. But it does. I need to test my blood glucose about 12 times a day and calculate my carbs every time I eat. And if someone offers me a chocolate I say No just because it would take me 15 minutes to be able to eat it!

12 times is a lot.

Why would it take 15 minutes?
@Spoiledbrat I would need to test my blood glucose and then type in the grams of carbohydrate in the chocolate and tell if I'm premenstrual and stuff like that. Then wait while it works out how much insulin I need and then it will blu tooth my pump and my pump will pump it in. Accepting a chocolate is a big part of my life!
@LilirWyddfa Last night the people of SW saved my life from more damage by making me take lucoxade and checking me after. Thank you.
Merry Christmas. @LilirWyddfa
@Spoiledbrat Merry Christmas to you too.
