I Hate Bump It's

I got a painful bump on the bottom right of my neck and I've had it since yesterday. I put also rub on it. I also have a lump in my neck too. If feels like a cyst I'm not sure. It moves around when I tough it. I'm having a feeling its cancer. I need to get it checked out if it gets worse or just go. Is that normal? I'm about to be 28 in two weeks. I know none of y'all are doctors but has this happen to any if y'all?

Sure sounds like a swollen lymph node. Lots of different causes - most of em relatively harmless. If you have the coverage, have it looked at soon as possible. No sense scaring yourself with the cancer thoughts. Good luck.

@hlpflwthat does it work to put alcorub on the bump or no?

I'm not familiar with alcorub and I am not a doctor. From what I do know I'd guess there'd be little in the way of topical treatments like a rub that would do much for a swollen lymph node. I think your health care provider is the person to ask.

I am praying for peace for you, please update us once you know. Also, I get cysts a lot and it sounds like what you describe though mine have never been painful.

You could have cancer or could just be A cyst which can be removed with an incesion but just get it checked

It seems like a puncture. Look in the middle of it. Did they pop it? They put a needle on mine and all this puss and blood came out, then they put gauze in it
