I Hate My Family

They always seem to have a problem with my life. I've always wanted to be a cosplayer ever since my first Halloween. It was my dream and I told them and they laughed at me saying that was a truly idiotic dream. So I felt bad about. Fast forward to now. I'm an actor in the lead role for a star wars film we are working on. Well I was doing a test run in my outfit and they barge in and start yelling at me to take it off and I said no so they said my cosplayer dream was stupid and wasn't going to make money so I left the house. I'm just walking around town now. I refuse to go back there until they stop acting like asses they always crush the dreams I have

Slade, two years is a long time to deal with dream destroyers . Maybe you can find another way to move somewhere before that time...? Like maybe living with some older person who needs someone on the property at night? Or living in a camper van? A friend's garage? Living aboard someone's boat if you're anywhere near a marina? Live-in servant type job? Think creative and maybe you can come up with something.

If you are already starting to live your dream, you can safely ignore them; you are on your way. Maybe it's time to put more time and space between you and your family. Acting is a tough enough career without this much discouragment.

Lai - least somebody thinks so plus my cosplay makes money on the side yet all they care about is the money like fuck my happiness plus it copes with my depression but they don't care

Yes, I am aware that it is a hobby. If you are also holding a job or going to school then they are going overboard. Otherwise I understand why they are upset.

I've been trying in two years my Gf offered me a place to live and I considered moving in with her and the like she welcome be. But I know I can't stay here
