I Want to Learn Spanish

There is a sizable Hispanic community in my area. In fact, I grew up around people who could speak Spanish, I just never bothered to learn how to speak it. But one of my goals for 2017 is to become fluent in conversational Spanish by the end of the year. I know it's not plausible to become completely fluent in a whole language in one year but if I'm able to carry a casual conversation, I'll be happy.
