I Love Clothes and Fashion

I enjoy it very much. Now I have started design classes for the last few weeks to leant to construct and create my own apparel and accessories and I like the fact I have been learning a very useful craft. I enjoy learning about synthetic and natural fibers, fabrics, textiles including rayon, polyester, acrylic, cotton, cashmere, slim, alpaca, and so on. I research about women's versus knits. I enjoy learning about the various embellishment processes pattern making, screen printing, embroidery, beading, sublimation, batik, and so on. I am fascinated by various cuts, styles, hemlines, sleeves, necklines, etc. i am obsessed with leaning about different art/craft/fashion companies that do custom made work and employ artisans to produce handcrafted items. I also enjoy learning about companies in their origins and stylish products and ethical standards with materials, employment practices, sustainability, and commitment to social responsibility. I enjoy the crafts of knitting and sewing. I also want to learn crocheting and embroidery. I enjoy seeing many categories of styles fused together to create a look that is unique and expressive. In addition, I am passionate about jewelry making and design and fully intend on learning how to create my own jewelry. Finally on top of clothing and jewelry, I love accessories. These include scarves, hats, hair accessories, gloves, and different body warmers and boot cuffs. Whether it's custom made by a small designer, handicrafts by an artisan, or mass manufactured by a larger company , I love fashion. It is a very versatile and personalized method of self expression and individuality. I am very disgruntled by many people dressing the same and not caring about their appearance at all. I am repulsed by people today dressing like unkempt slobs in public and wish that disgusting trashy trend never came into existence. For me, it is not about mindlessly following fads and going into debt to keep up with trends each season. You don't have to break the bank for this. I enjoy mixing and matching styles from various eras and cultures to convey to the world who I am.
