I like this trend in fashion: guys start to wear shorter shorts, I think they look much better in those than in the long baggy bermudas.

As a guy, I have not felt comfortable wearing shorts above my knee. Recently my wife got me a pair of shorts that come to about the middle of my thigh. I do wear them at home and they are comfortable when it is hot outside. She says that I look good in them and should ware them away from the house also. I guess that I am just not ready for that yet.
