I like this trend in fashion: guys start to wear shorter shorts, I think they look much better in those than in the long baggy bermudas. This is a nice one:

As a guy, I have not felt comfortable wearing shorts above my knee. Recently my wife got me a pair of shorts that come to about the middle of my thigh. I do wear them at home and they are comfortable when it is hot outside. She says that I look good in them and should ware them away from the house also. I guess that I am just not ready for that yet.

I see nothing wrong with a guy wearing shorter shorts just so that they are long enough that he does not expose him self. With that being said, it actually seems a bit sexist that only us girls can wear short shorts.

Though I am even more bothered by long board shorts as swimwear.....

I do get the impression that swimwear is getting more brief for us men too...which makes me happy (as a wearer)

Shorts still have a crotch that is uncomfortable on the male anatomy which is why I prefer miniskirts to the point that I have donated all of my shorts and pants to charity.
