I Believe White Privilege Exists Sadly
I’ve always found it interesting when someone claims that you are privileged. They have never met you, don’t know a lick about your history, but they claim you are privileged.
They claim you are privileged but you don’t need to feel bad about it. But denying it is just a part of that privilege, but don’t feel bad.
But if you tell these same people they are privileged as well they get upset on the spot, denying it and saying you can’t say that.
An example:
We have been told that white males are the most privileged and really the argument is meant to stop there. But if you follow the flow of logic here and critically think about their method you can easily make a tree of the privileged.
A working white male is more privileged than the homeless black male. The working black male is more privileged than the homeless white male.
A female art student who claims to be “non-binary” who goes to school at the University of Notre Dame is more privileged than the straight black mom who is a nurse working 14 hour shifts and has 3 kids.
An illegal immigrant living in the US and works as a cleaner is more privileged than the female African street beggar living in Liberia during the Ebola outbreak.
These timeless snobs who have to dictate who is privileged get so upset when you point out and explain that she is also privileged, we all are in some way. But don’t forget, it’s nothing to be upset about
