The Wild Burros of Arizona

Holdouts from another era, descendants of the pack burros/donkeys used for mining in the late 1800s, the burros were turned loose to fend for themselves when no longer needed. These hard working beasts of burden survived and populate Arizona deserts, especially the Mohave. I adore them, and I finally did a painting in their honor.

@SW-User Wallabies range right down through Tasmania. A fair comparison to Scotland in some ways. More forest though.😷

This is the same way Central Australia got a large population of wild Camels.😷
I’m happy they survived. 😃🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫🐫@whowasthatmaskedman

@Kathburglar Survived? Not only are they thriving. We now export them back to Arab countries as they are better racing animals than the local camels. Talk about selling sand to the Arabs. 😷

Bummer. I thought maybe it was out on display for us to enjoy.@Kathburglar
@Hikingguy LoL, thanks. There are some “flaws,” so I won’t show this painting, nor will I sell it. I sure appreciate your kindness.
