I Believe That A Boy And Girl Can Just Be Friends

I am a girl, my housemate is a boy, we get on just fine with no issues.

I think girls have much less problem just having a guy friend. Although it's definitely possible for a guy to view a girl as just a friend, and I certainly have friends who are female and I don't view them in any other way, many guys will often hope a friendship will lead to more.
