I Write Whatever I Want To Write

The shoe and coin.

S LOGO of Skechers shines brilliantly for the Go Run Ultra Road shoe model. The comfort, durability coupled with the color combination made it stand a class apart from normal shoes. Micahlynn was a beautiful member of this clan. She was bright orange.“I will be the best shoe to my owner. He is never going to feel any discomfort. I will adjust myself according to his foot pronation,” she promised herself. 😍

With dreams in her eyes she waited to reach her new home. Priced at $110, she assured herself that the innovative FitKnit technology which blankets a large part of her upper provides an exceptional combination of support and security without compromising on breathability. “I am going to have a happy productive life and my owner will love me,” she said with at most surety.

Her new owner looked like a typical landlord of the Pre-British Era. He had a huge moustache and a huge belly. He wore more gold than Bappi Lahri. The doctors had advised him to try going to the gym to lose some weight or he will be left with no option other than liposuction/bariatric surgery.⚽

“Ouch, he is so heavy!” she said when he tried her on for his morning walk. She blushed as her bottom touched the green grass covered with dew and blissfully forgot the load she was carrying. She loved her owner and was determined to give him her best. Few days had passed and she loved each moment.

In yoga class, as usual he kept her next to his mat. She looked at the other pair of shoe by her side and smiled. She suddenly felt a commotion around her. “Wait Wait Wait,” she waived to the persons carrying her owner in a stretcher. A lady with huge specs lifts her up and dumps her in an old shoe rack.

“It’s so stingy, dark and lonely”, she screamed. Every time the shoe rack door opens, she looks at the ray of light with a hope that it will be her owner.
“Where is the coin,” she remembered her owner say. He was talking about the 2 gram gold coin that the owner had dropped. It is valued $80 at present gold rates. He may have purchased it way lesser. “I value $110,” she said looking at the rugged price sticker that was still intact. “If he spends 3 hours searching for that gold coin, he will surely come back for me”, she hoped.

The owner had suffered a heart attack. He decided to undergo bariatric surgery and settle in his European mansion. MicahLynn could not be on his priority list. It was not reasonable to even expect that.

In India, during Nepal Earthquake we collect essentials. People are usually not so thoughtful and redundant things are often dumped in the collection box. MicahLynn was dumped in one such box. She reached Nepal and a marathon runner of the likes of Mira Rai noticed her. He cherished her and together they won many races. The success stories of runner who ran with donated shoes went viral. This is one possibility.

The other possibility is that MicahLynn may probably stay in the dark for months. Someone may put a newspaper under her which coincidently contains photo of her best friend from the same production batch. “We were together till the shop,” she tells herself. Insecurities, desperation, helplessness and guilt would set in. Each time a prospective owner tried her and said “She is so big for me.” and took another shoe from the same rack. It would bruise her ego and question her self-worth. Finding a man with foot size (US 12.5) signing up to this particular yoga class and also needs a shoe is rare. MicahLynn may someday die all covered in molds. This is another possibility with higher probability.
People write success stories. No one notices the success story of MicahLynn who is all covered in a mold. It’s a failure for them. What is the success story?

MicahLynn reaches Heaven and God looks at her with a smile. She cried and said; “I am sorry. I did not have a productive life.”

God: What was your dream?

👩MicahLynn: Like my friend in the newspaper, I wanted to proudly tell you dear God that I helped my owner to reach his ideal weight. I sacrificed myself to do my duty. I am a successful shoe.

God: What makes you unsuccessful?

👧MicahLynn: I barely served as a shoe for a few weeks and then I didn’t see any productive day since that. In fact I died with molds all over.

God: Penicillin is probably the best known medication made by a mold, but there are many other examples. Penicillin is an antibiotic and kills bacteria. Another medication made by a mold is lovastatin, which is used to lower LDL cholesterol (the so-called bad cholesterol). Cyclosporine is a mold chemical that suppresses the activity of the immune system and is administered after an organ transplant to help prevent rejection of the organ. It's also used to treat some autoimmune diseases.

MicahLynn looked bewildered. God hugged her and continued.

God: Molds are also a part of my creation. You nurtured them. For a balance, even molds are needed. They need a source to grow. You were a chosen one. In fact, I send you newspapers so that you don’t miss your friends. I ensured new variety of friends came in that dark rack for a short while before they undertook the duties I assigned them. I filled you with strength to see them go. I kept your heart soft so that you received the next shoe with warmth. I send timely rays of sunlight to fill you with joy and hope to pep you up. I love you as I always did.

MicahLynn sat in her chamber feeling accomplished. She should have enjoyed the days she cried in the dark chamber was her only regret. Life does not come back.
MicahLynn the most unsuccessful shoe had done her duty.
She was successful in God’s eye.

MORAL

Joyce Meyer was sexually abused as a child by her own father. She later married the first one who walked by and divorced. At 23, she meets Dave Meyer who introduces her to life and peace. Today, she is an example of how God can make impossibilities, possible. Joyce Meyer is only one possibility. There may be many women in similar situation who did not find Dave. They may die all covered in molds. God has used them for his purpose.

What’s the purpose of Goliath’s life? In his failure, he was a part of a bigger plan. His failures were a keystone to establish David as a king. David earned respect and an admiration all over the entire region.

In early 2006, a Christian well behaved guy expressed his interest in me for the first time. First year engineering had begun and we studied in India’s best engineering college in two different days. He had contacted me on Orkut for a purpose. We happened to attend same bible camp during our vacation. I had no mobile phone or a personal computer at home. I cut lectures to get on Orkut. I was not in love but he was consistent. Finally, when I decided to say a yes and began dreaming about him. I send him gift i.e chocolates, belt and a wallet. The date was 13 Feb 2006. Two days later he cried when he received it. He sends me his first sermon of the thief on the cross in a CD. I heard the CD in a cyber café. I dialed his number through a STD booth. We cried. The innocence of two 18 year old was so beautiful.
Just 15 days later, I told him of my travel. I was in a long distance train. Someone tried to touch my heels while I slept on the berth. We couldn’t talk for 5-10 days as I was out of town. I had no mobile phone. He asked; “what were you wearing?” He lectured me like Pentecostal sermon that I am no more a teenager and I should not wear jeans. Confident, I disagreed. He said all city girls are the same.
Few days later he said; “God took away the love overnight. I truly loved you. I want to marry a fair girl who sang in the choir.” He continued, “I always wanted to be a pastor. I don’t think you are pastor wife material. You are so shy to even greet people with Praise the Lord. I don’t like city girls. March 2006, I was single. I cried for four years over this.

Today 1 march 2017, He has a high position in church. He is married to a beautiful woman who sings in the choir and has an amazing daughter. We are friends and he was changed his mentality. He has changed his opinions. He apologized. HIS EXPERIENCE HAD TAUGHT ME TO BELIEVE IN MYSELF EVEN WHEN PEOPLE SAY GOD IS SAYING DIFFERENTLY.

Today 1 March 2017, I am still single. I have liked 3 Christian guys each with an aspiration of being a pastor and lead the choir. I liked two American guys.
I don’t know if I will ever have a successful love story. I know I will have a successful life. My failures may be a part of a bigger plot.
LIKE MICAHLYNN THE SHOE, I WILL HOPE WITH EACH RAY. I MAY END UP DYING WITH MOLDS ALL OVER. I WILL ENJOY EACH DAY.
