We are opposite. Lived in high country here for twenty three years. Nice cool summers, but twenty feet of snow from October to May. Did all the cool things you can only do in country like partys and family get togethers. But also twenty three years of snow kept you inside all winter.
Have raised milk goats, cow, ponies, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. Occasionally a corn snake, or a copperhead, big black snakes. Had a good time without any traffic, no people next door, know everybody around, lots of perks.
Now we are in small city of about 40,000, with university maybe more. Kroger is three minutes away, all shopping, baseball team, football. All is within minutes. Two major hospitals are a half mile or so, Still costs a thousand to ride the ambulance tho. We are digging the city life here, may not be big city but those are easy drive from here. Everything convenient.
