I Have Noticed That

There are lots of people on here who have been members for a long time and yet they have hardly added anything to the 'typeface' and they haven't uploaded anything identifying them as human beings in search of friends, lovers or countrymen!

Is that sad? They struggle to join in?

I suppose you could look at it that way. It also could be said that they are engaging as much as they like, and don't feel the need to do any more than they are.
