Funny how the world works in mysterious ways.
In a group that I follow on Facebook one day someone’s post seemed to unintentionally catch my eye. I commented on it and asked the girl that posted it if she would maybe want to just talk sometime. She almost immediately responded back with a simple “sure.” That was all the way back in April 2020 (of all years....!)
Since then I just can’t not message her with a “good morning” and “hey babe hope had a great day.” We live almost 9 hours away from each other though so we’ve decided to give the long distance thing a try and it seems to be working out fine so far. I actually plan on going to visit her for the first time in person in May this year.
I’m so super excited to see her. We definitely have the same interests in some things and yes there are some differences too between us. But whenever I think about her I just can’t help but smile. I feel like I’ve never truly felt this way about someone else before. I feel like I am willing to do just about anything for her to make her happy. Even the other day when I misheard her on something she said I just almost couldn’t be mad at her because I feel like I truly love her. Funny how meeting a complete stranger sometimes can turn into such a great friendship.
