I Have a Phobia

Needles. I hate needles. When I have to do blood testing and transfusions I have to look away or I have a panic attack. While I can physically control my panic attacks and not flail or run away, my mind goes in to overdrive and it sets off my faints.

Today I have the dentist and just found out he no longer does sedation. I've never had nitrous so don't know what to expect. Already nervous and it's not until late afternoon.

Just bad timing. Wish he had finished my extractions last week when he still sedated. I'm nervous I'll not be able to control myself and wind up doing something stupid or pass out.
