The middle section of the water where you can't see the surface and can't see the bottom is like my worst feel if I'm close to the surface or can see the surface I'll be fine.

See this fear i can understand. I love to swim and do striaght drops in deep water to push how far down i can go. I misjudged the distance a fe times and came up sucking in water a few feet from the surface. And when im at the bittom im always paranoid ill get caught on something...
