On ebay or amazon you can probably find older word processing programs like MicroSoft Office 2003, 2007, or other years. You should get a CD and a product key.
Your PC would need a CD drive of course.
I bought MS Office 2003 professional edition when it was new back in 2003 for $500 and still use it on whatever computer I run, to this day.
BTW, on ebay, some of the older MS office programs are as cheap as like $30 for the student edition.
YOu do not really need anything new because they all work the same.
