I Love the Sea

I don't live right by the sea but from my house we can see the estuary of a river. It always looks beautiful but especially I think at high tide when it is full of water, shaped like a silver snake winding its way inland between the hills and mountains as far as the bridge in the town where I shop. I cycle on a path by the estuary. Sometimes it is full, sometimes it is mostly mudbanks. If is always beautiful and always different. We have the second highest tidal range in the world after the Bay of Fundy in Canada. At least that's what my Geography teacher said!
